That said, I would like to give Denemo a decent try and see what it can do. If I weren't working on so many different things at once, I'd probably use Frescobaldi. I do all my work in emacs so it makes sense to do so with Lilypond. Personally, I just use emacs (a standard text editor/development environment) with its Lilypond mode.
This doesn't mean Denemo doesn't work really well, of course.
